About Misato Town
Misato Town was created in 2004 through the merger of the towns of Senhata and Rokugo and Sennan Village, the first of the great Heisei-era mergers in Akita. It is known for the Rokugo springs, one of Japan's 100 Exquisite Waters, and its lavender garden. The main town office building is in Tsuchizaki.
