For government & public sector

Is phone duty keeping real work from getting done?

With teams stretched thin, staff spend their days answering the same questions on the phone while core work waits. Let AIRI take the first line of resident inquiries.

Resident support example (fictional)

I just moved here — what do I need for the move-in registration?

You'll need an ID document and your move-out certificate. I can also tell you the counter's opening hours.

Can I handle my child's paperwork at the same time?

Yes — the child allowance and school transfer procedures can be completed the same day. Let me walk you through what to bring.

AI answers after hours and on holidays with the same quality. Every call is recorded with a transcript and summary.

What's happening at the front desk

In many public offices, phone duty piles onto a team that is already short-staffed.

Not enough hands

With hiring hard and headcounts shrinking, the same staff juggle counters, casework, and planning. Every ring stops their work.

The same questions, again and again

Opening hours, required documents, how a procedure works — most inquiries are routine questions with fixed answers.

Core work keeps stalling

Casework and planning are interrupted by every call. After-hours calls go unanswered and callbacks pile up.

AIRI takes the first line of your phones

AI resolves routine inquiries end to end and hands over only the calls that need human judgment.

1

AI answers first

The AI operator answers procedural questions and FAQs on the spot. Register your knowledge base to shape and grow its answers.

2

24/7, all year round

The same quality after closing, on holidays, and in busy seasons. No more "the line is always busy."

3

Multilingual support

Serve foreign residents in Japanese, English, and other languages.

We don't leave everything to AI. Inquiries that need individual judgment and urgent calls are routed to the staff you designate, following rules you set. Scope and tone are set per department, and handover destinations and conditions in the transfer settings.

Turn phone time into time for residents

With fewer first-line calls to answer, staff can focus on in-person service and the work only they can do.

Better resident service

Fewer unanswered calls and fewer transfers — guidance available even after hours.

Lighter staff workload

Freed from routine phone duty, staff focus on work that needs judgment and conversation.

Automatic records

Every call is transcribed and summarized automatically, making review and handover easy.

OUR COMMITMENT

Information that connects residents with the right office, open to everyone

Separately from our product, AIRI maintains and publishes the phone numbers of municipalities and public offices across Japan — so residents can call the right office the first time, with fewer misdirected calls and transfers.

PROCEDURE GUIDE

We publish sourced summaries of the procedures residents ask about most

For My Number Cards, resident records, family registers, moving, and National Health Insurance, we summarize what is common nationwide, procedure by procedure, with official government pages as sources. Anything that differs by municipality, such as service counters and hours, is left out, and sources and check dates are shown on every page.

  • Sources and check dates shown
  • Updated when the rules change
  • Only what is common nationwide

Frequently asked questions

Can we keep our current phone number?

Yes. You can forward calls from your existing main number, or set up a new dedicated number for AIRI. We'll help you choose the right setup.

What if the AI gives a wrong answer?

What the AI answers is controlled by the knowledge you register and the department settings (common inquiries and what the line can't handle). For questions it can't answer or that need individual judgment, it doesn't guess — it offers a handover to staff or a callback instead.

How do you handle security and personal data?

Call records are isolated per tenant and access is permission-controlled. See our security page for details, and contact us about specific requirements.

Tell us about your current phone workload.

We'll propose a plan that fits your size and requirements. Test calls are available.
