About Kisarazu City
Kisarazu City was established in 1942 through the merger of Kisarazu Town and three villages. It is the Chiba-side starting point of the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line and also has natural areas such as the Banzu tidal flat. Since 2015 the city office has been divided between the Ekimae Building (Sparkle City Kisarazu) and the Asahi Building, and work on a new office building is under way.
