About Urayasu City
Urayasu City came into being in 1981 when Urayasu Town attained city status. Home to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, it is a planned urban area built largely on reclaimed land and has the highest population density in the prefecture. The city office is in Nekozane, where a new building was completed in 2016.
