About Minakami Town
Minakami was born in 2005 from the merger of Tsukiyono Town, Minakami Town and Niiharu Village, and its name comes from Wakayama Bokusui's travelogue Minakami Kiko. It is known for Mount Tanigawa and the Minakami 18 Hot Springs, including Minakami Onsen. The town office is in Gokan, in the building of the former Tsukiyono Town.
