About Shika Town
Shika Town was born in 2005 from the merger of the former Shika Town and the former Togi Town. It hosts Hokuriku Electric Power's Shika Nuclear Power Station, the only nuclear power plant in the prefecture, and the scenic Noto Kongo coastline stretches along its shore. The main town office building is in the Sueyoshi district, with the Togi Branch Office in the former Togi Town.
