About Hirono Town
Hirono Town was established in 2006 when Tanehichi Town and Ono Village merged to form a new town. Blessed with marine resources such as sea urchin cultivation channels and Tanehichi Seaside Park, it is also home to the Hirono Makiba Observatory. The town has two offices, the Tanehichi Office and the Ono Office, and the Tanehichi Office is about 5 minutes by car from Hirono-Tanehichi IC.
