About Natori City
In 1955, six towns and villages including Masuda Town merged to form Natori Town, which adopted city status in 1958. The city is home to Sendai Airport, Tohoku's gateway by air, and is also known for the port town of Yuriage. The city office is in the Masuda area, about 6 minutes by bus from JR Natori Station.
