About Hinokage Town
Hinokage Town was born in 1951 when the villages of Nanaori and Iwaigawa merged and gained town status. The Gokase River runs through the center of the town, which has the Eikokukan (English House), a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan, and a village of stone walls. The town office moved to the Miyamizu area in 2021.
