About Otari Village
Otari Village was formed in 1958 through the merger of the villages of Kitaotari, Nakatsuchi and Minamiotari, and is designated as a special heavy-snowfall area. It has ski areas such as Tsugaike Kogen, and forests cover most of the village. The village office is in the Nakaotari district, in a building completed in 1971.
