About Kamimine Town
Kamimine began as Kamimine Village in 1889 and became a town in 1989. It is home to Mt. Chinzei, where Minamoto no Tametomo is said to have built a castle, and the Hachifuji Hills, a national Natural Monument. The town office is in Bosho.
