About Higashimiyoshi Town
Higashimiyoshi was created in 2006 by the merger of Miyoshi Town and Mikamo Town. It has the Great Camphor Tree of Kamo, a national Special Natural Monument over 1,000 years old, and Minoda no Fuchi, a scenic spot on the Yoshino River. The town office is in Kamo, in the former Mikamo Town.
