About Nerima City
Nerima City, established in August 1947 when it separated from Itabashi, is the newest of the 23 special wards. It has Shakujii Park and some of the largest farmland in Tokyo, and is also known as the birthplace of anime production. The city office is in Toyotamakita, near Nerima Station.
