About Hirao Town
In 1955, Hirao Town merged with Ono, Saka and Sone villages to form the present town. Facing the Seto Inland Sea, it is known for its sea views on the western side of the Murotsu Peninsula. The town office is in Hirao-machi, and began operating in its new main building in May 2022.
