About Hanawa Town
The present town of Hanawa was established in 1955 through a merger with surrounding towns and villages. It is known for hot spring areas such as Yujimata Onsen and for the Hanawa hanging hina doll festival. The town office is in Omachi, Hanawa, and its new building opened in May 2024.
