About Miki City
Miki City adopted municipal status in 1954 when the town of Miki merged with surrounding villages, and incorporated Yokawa Town in 2005. A castle town of Miki Castle, the site of the Siege of Miki, it is known as a "hardware town" producing saws, chisels and other carpentry tools. The city office is near Miki-Kaminomaru Station on the Kobe Electric Railway.
