About Hitachinaka City
Hitachinaka City was established in 1994 through the merger of the cities of Katsuta and Nakaminato. It is home to Hitachi Seaside Park, a national government park known for nemophila in spring and kochia in autumn, as well as Ajigaura Beach. The city office is in Higashiishikawa, about a 15-minute walk from Katsuta Station.
