About Aki City
Aki became a city in 1954 through the merger of eight towns and villages, including the town of Aki. It is home to the Noradokei clock tower in the Doi district and Benten Pond in Uchiharano, known for its azaleas. The city office is also in the Doi district, having moved to a new building in January 2024.
