About Kitsuki City
Kitsuki is a city in the southern Kunisaki Peninsula, formed in 2005 by merging the former Kitsuki City, Yamaga Town and Ota Village. The former Kitsuki City had adopted city status in 1955. The streetscape of the castle town of Kitsuki survives, and the city office has its main building in Oaza Kitsuki as well as Yamaga and Ota buildings.
