About Mimasaka City
Mimasaka City was created in 2005 by the merger of five towns and one village, including Shoda and Mimasaka towns. It is known for Yunogo Onsen, one of the three hot springs of Mimasaka, and for historic sites associated with Miyamoto Musashi. The city office moved into a new building in 2025.
