About Misaki Town
Misaki Town was formed in 2005 by the merger of three towns: Chuo, Yanahara and Asahi. Known as the birthplace of tamago kake gohan (raw egg over rice), it also has terraced rice fields selected as one of Japan's 100 best. The town office moved to a new building in Harada in 2025.
