About Miyakojima City
Miyakojima City was formed in 2005 when five municipalities, including Hirara City and Gusukube Town, merged. Its scenic spots include the Irabu Bridge, opened in 2015, and Yonaha Maehama Beach. The main city office building is in Hirara Nishizato and opened in 2021.
