About Misato Town
Misato Town in Kodama District began as Misato Village, formed in 1954 by merging the villages of Matsuhisa, Osawa and Higashikodama, and gained town status in 1984. Blueberry cultivation thrives here, and the town has the site of Kamakura-period roof-tile kilns, a national historic site. The town office is in Kibe.
