About Midori Ward
Midori Ward of Saitama City was created in 2003 when Saitama became a designated city, and lies in the city’s southeast, bordering Koshigaya and Kawaguchi cities. Green spaces spread out around the Minuma Tanbo, and the ward is home to the Minuma Tsusenbori, Japan’s oldest lock-type canal, and Saitama Stadium 2002. The ward office is in Nakao.
