About Yoshikawa City
Yoshikawa City traces back to the 1955 merger of Yoshikawa Town and the villages of Miwanoe and Asahi, and gained city status in 1996. It developed with the opening of the Musashino Line and the construction of the Yoshikawa housing complex, and is known as “the home of the catfish.” In fiscal 2018, the city office moved to a new building in Kiyomino.
