About Yoshika Town
Located at the southwestern tip of Shimane, Yoshika Town was formed in 2005 by the merger of Muikaichi Town and Kakinoki Village. It is home to the source of the clear Takatsu River, and is also known for the Oidani terraced rice fields, one of Japan's 100 selected terraced rice fields. The main town office building is in Muikaichi, with a branch building in Kakinoki.
