About Hoki Town
Hoki Town was created in 2005 by the merger of Kishimoto Town in Saihaku District and Mizokuchi Town in Hino District. It lies at the western foot of Mount Daisen, which, seen from the west, is called "Hoki Fuji." The town is home to the Shoji Ueda Museum of Photography, and the main town office building is in Yoshinaga, in the former Kishimoto Town.
