About Yonago City
Yonago became the prefecture's second city in 1927, and took its present form in 2005 through a merger with Yodoe Town. Called the "merchant city of San'in," it is known for Kaike Onsen, the birthplace of the triathlon in Japan. The city office is in Kamocho 1-chome.
