About Onomichi City
Onomichi became the second city in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1898, and between 2005 and 2006 it absorbed Mitsugi Town, Mukaishima Town, Innoshima City and Setoda Town. The city is known for Senkoji Park and its hillside townscape, as well as the Shimanami Kaido. The city office is about a 15-minute walk from JR Onomichi Station, in Kubo 1-chome.
