About Iwami Town
Located at the eastern tip of Tottori, Iwami Town was created in 1954 by the merger of two towns and seven villages, including Uradome and Iwai. It is home to the Uradome Coast, a national Place of Scenic Beauty that forms part of the San'in Kaigan Geopark. The town office is in the Uradome area.
