About Towada City
Towada was created in 2005 by merging Towada City and Towadako Town, and is the central city of the Kamikita area. It boasts scenic spots such as Lake Towada and the Oirase Stream, as well as the Towada Art Center. The city office is in Nishi 12-bancho, where a new building came into service in 2019.
