About Oi Town
Oi was established in 2006 by the merger of the town of Oi and the village of Natasho. It has Uminpia Oi, a comprehensive leisure complex with a "sea station" and a roadside station, and is the site of Kansai Electric Power's Ohi Power Station. The town office is in the former Oi Town Office building in Hongo, and there is a resident services office in the Natasho area.
