About Asakita Ward
Asakita Ward of Hiroshima was established in 1980 when the city became a government-designated city, and consists of the four former towns of Kabe, Koyo, Asa and Shiraki. With its mountainous terrain, it has the largest area of the city's eight wards. The ward office is in Kabe 4-chome, in the former Kabe Town.
