- Spousal Violence Counseling and Support Centers provide consultation and referrals to consultation agencies, counseling, ensuring safety and temporary protection in emergencies, information for living independently, and information on using the protection order system.
- In some prefectures, besides Women's Consultation and Support Centers, gender equality centers, welfare offices and others are also designated as Spousal Violence Counseling and Support Centers.
- Consultations are available only within each center's hours. Hours differ by facility, and you are advised to contact the center by phone beforehand if you plan to visit.
